Zen has completed the Legal Practice Course (LPC) with a commendation and holds a Master’s degree in Law.
Zen joins BD Solicitors having worked in a busy and well respected practice in Leeds, during which time Zen amassed a strong own client base through his hard work and strong representation of client’s in custody.
During his time at BD Solicitors, Zen has developed extensive experience across all areas of criminal defence, representing clients in matters ranging from theft offences to complex fraud and drug-related cases. His practice is now principally focused on serious violent crime, and he is regularly instructed in high-profile and sensitive cases involving attempted murder, Section 18 GBH, Firearms Offences and kidnapping. He also has significant experience in complex fraud matters, including conspiracies to defraud, and has been instructed in substantial money laundering cases across the North of England, as well as cases involving counterfeit currency.
Zen is recognised for his attention to detail, strategic approach and confidence in handling serious allegations.
He takes full ownership of his cases, advising clients, analysing evidence and disclosure, and preparing matters for court. He has particular expertise in reviewing digital evidence, including but not limited to mobile phone downloads, ensuring all key material is identified and used effectively.
Zen has earned a strong reputation at the police station, consistently achieving positive outcomes through a proactive, assertive, and strategically focused approach. Respected by clients for his dedication and results driven approach, he keeps them fully informed at every stage, providing practical guidance and reassurance throughout their case.
